The brand new Heinakroon Lab is now open

We’re excited to introduce Heinakroon Lab – our new behind-the-scenes design group on Facebook. This is where our next overlays take shape, and where you can get involved in the process.

So what is Heinakroon Lab all about?

The new Facebook group is the place where you can suggest new synth and drum machine models you’d like us to start making overlays for, or perhaps other mods as well.

You will also be able to get previews of early design drafts and sketches and offer feedback on what works – and what could be better. Anything from colours, fonts and general layout – just remember that we are of course working within the restrictions of the original frontpanel layout. 😉

There will also be early access to pre-orders and potential limited runs. This gives you the chance of being among the first to get the latest designs for your favourite synth, drum machine or whatever machine we cook up overlays for in the future.

It’s also a place for discussions about synths in general, their panel layout, usability and what you particularly like about a certain model – or indeed what you don’t like.

So, whether you’re a modular tinkerer or just love clean, intuitive design – your input matters.
