The Heinakroon Standard: Beyond Vinyl
While standard console skins are made of PVC vinyl, we use a special high-grade Polypropylene (PP) material. This makes a massive difference in a professional environment:

Heat-Resistant & Dimensionally Stable: Digital mixers like the X32 generate significant internal heat. Unlike vinyl, which can stretch, bubble or creep over time, our PP overlays are dimensionally stable. They stay perfectly aligned with your faders and buttons, regardless of how long the show runs.

Chemically Inert & Sweat-Proof: Polypropylene is resistant to organic oils and sweat. It won’t degrade, discolour or become tacky after months of heavy use by different engineers.

Safe for You and Your Gear: Cheap plastics can emit harmful chemical compounds (off-gassing) when heated on a warm console. Our PP material is free from toxic additives, providing a safer, odourless experience in the booth.

Precision Plotter-Cut: We use high-precision plotter-cutting rather than lasers. This ensures smooth, clean edges without any of the charring or that melted look you often find on light-coloured overlays when laser-cut.
